The grapes for this wine are
sourced from the Colchagua
Valley appellation, part of
an impressive 997 hectares
of Chilean vineyard under
Emiliana’s ownership.
The conditions in the valley
are ideal to grow red varietals
such as Carmenère; the area
experiences hot summers,
featuring a high diurnal
temperature range, with
cooling influences from
mountain and ocean breezes.
The wine produced is well
balanced, as warm days
boost sugar levels and
ripen the tannins whilst
the cooler nights
preserve the
important levels
of acidity.
THE WINE:
Emiliana is dark
purple in colour
with plum and
redcurrant aromas
and hints of
vanilla.
