This is very easy to answer, and I am in
somewhat of a disbelief it happened still. My
dream property for a vineyard for over a decade
was Kekerengu coast, Marlborough, and us as
a team made it come true four vintages ago.
Located within Marlborough’s Appellation Wine
Region, Kekerengu is untouched and unique.
The soil here is different— stony and rough,
with a vein of limestone carried by forgotten
glaciers. The morning ocean mist is a ghost that
tends the vines, and the wind is a prevailing
southerly that makes the grapes develop
slower than other places. Ecstatically stunning
ocean front vineyard with the mountains for
a backdrop, that produces the most unique
and expressive cool-climate Marlborough
Sauvignon Blanc. You should try the Black
Label Sauvignon Blanc, it’s sensational.
